Synopsis

What if you watch a film and whenever you pause it, you face a painting? This idea inspired Reza Dolatabadi to make Khoda. Over 6000 paintings were painstakingly produced during two years to create a five minutes film that would meet high personal standards. Khoda is a psychological thriller; a student project which was seen as a ‘mission impossible’ by many people but eventually proved possible!

run wrake - director

un Wrake is known as an animator & illustrator, who has collaborated with Howie B & created visuals for U2's Vertigo tour. His latest short animation "Rabbit" has been very successful at many film festivals all round the world.

The story is basically a very simple morality tale about greed, the dangers of greed & exploring nature. It came about when he found some 1950's stickers in a junk shop & thought it would be great to make a film out of them. There were about 200 different stickers. It took about 16 months from the start. He spent about one year for actual making animation and 4 months for pre-production. Howie B helped out with the music & all sound effects were done by Craig Butters.
